Referral Program

Effective October 22, 2026.

The short version: know a rep or manager who'd use these books? Send them to thedaycompany.us. After their 30-day refund window ends, email us their name and order number, and we'll pay you 20% of their first order (10% if that first order is a Company Install). We pay on the first order only.

What we pay

  • First order: 20% of what the person you referred paid for their first order, for example a book, The Complete Set or the Book 3 Team License.
  • Company Install: if their first order is a Company Install, we pay you 10% of what the company paid for it.
  • First order only. We pay once per person you refer. Nothing is paid on anything they buy after their first order.

We pay on what the buyer actually paid, after any discount. There's no special link or code. Just send people to the site.

How to get paid

  1. Wait until 30 days have passed since their purchase, so their refund window has ended.
  2. Email [email protected] with the subject "Referral." Include your name, their name, the email they bought with and their order number. That's your proof.
  3. We check the order in our payment records and email you back.
  4. We pay confirmed referrals by hand, usually once a month. We choose the payment method and timing, and we'll tell you what they are before we pay.

Who counts

  • Anyone can refer. You don't have to be a customer to refer someone.
  • New customers only. The person you refer can't have bought from us before.
  • No self-referrals. You can't refer yourself, and that includes buying with a second email or under another name.
  • One referrer per buyer. If two people claim the same buyer, we pay the first claim we confirm.
  • One level only. We pay you for people you refer. We don't pay you for the people they refer.
  • Refunds and chargebacks. If the order is refunded or charged back, we don't pay for it. If we already paid and the order is later refunded or charged back, we can take that amount out of your next payout.

Telling people about us

  • Say you earn a commission. Any time you post about us in public, like social media, a group or a video, say clearly that you earn a commission if people buy. For example: "I get a commission if you buy." Federal rules require this.
  • Describe the books the way this site does. Don't promise anyone appointments, sales or earnings from them.
  • Check your employer's policy. Some solar companies don't let reps recommend or get paid for outside products. Check yours before you share.

Taxes

Taxes on what we pay you are your responsibility. We may ask you for a W-9 before we pay you.

Changes to the program

We may change or end the program. If we do, we'll post the change on this page first. Commissions you earned before a change or the end of the program still get paid under the rules that applied when you earned them.
