Delete my account

You can ask us to delete your Day One Field Guides account and the personal information we hold about you at any time.

How to ask

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address you bought with, with the subject "Delete my account."
  2. We reply to that address to confirm it's you. We don't ask for a password or ID number.
  3. We finish within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What we delete

  • Your login records (any login links and request counters) and your login cookie when you next visit.
  • Your contact record in our email system (HighLevel), and your entries on the free cheat sheet, "Opens Dec 1, 2026" and Company Install lists.
  • What Stripe allows us to remove from your customer record.

What we have to keep

  • Payment, tax and refund records, for as long as the law requires (generally 7 years).
  • Proof of consent for any subscription, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • A short "do not email" record, so we don't email you again by mistake.

Before you ask: once your account is deleted, you can't log in to download your books again. Log in and download them first. The files you already downloaded stay yours to keep under your license.

To just stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email. To log out on this browser, open My books and choose Log out. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
