You'll be able to…
- Say who you are and why you're there in the first 15 seconds, so nobody mistakes you for the utility.
- Book every decision-maker at a time that holds, then hand it off on one sheet your closer can use.
- Ramp up in two weeks with your manager, with daily and weekly trackers and the setter compliance page.
These are things the playbook teaches you to do, not promised results.
The door flow answers the question before they ask it.
Your name, company and badge answer "who are you?" and "are you with the utility?" "I'll be quick" answers "I'm busy." The six-question survey lets the homeowner tell you whether the bill matters. The time funnel books every decision-maker, so "my spouse handles that" rarely comes up later.

- Say who you are first. The opener is built so nobody mistakes you for the utility.
- The survey does the qualifying. No income or credit questions at the door.
- Sets that sit. Every decision-maker is booked, and the time is repeated, confirmed and handed off on one sheet.

One doorstep objection, free
The question every setter hears, and the one you answer the same way every time. Word for word from Part 3, in four beats.
“Are you with the electric company?”
Objection 3 of 12- Acknowledge
Good question, and no.
- Ask
Did someone from the utility come by recently, or did it just look that way?
- Answer
I'm with [company], a private solar company. We're not the utility or the government. Here's my badge and our license number.
- Advance
Still okay if I ask a couple of survey questions?
Word for word from the Knock-to-Booked Playbook, Part 3 (objection 3 of 12). Answer this one clearly, every time.
Who it's for
- New door-to-door setters, including reps coming from pest, alarm or telecom doors
- Appointment setters doing warm or inbound phone follow-up
- Managers training setters, with the 2-week ramp and the huddle drills built in
Who it's not for
- Cold texting, autodialing or calling purchased lists. The book tells you not to.
- Anyone who wants a "survey" to get around no-soliciting signs

I've knocked the doors these kits are written for.
I'm Damien Day. I've spent 5+ years in solar, and before that I owned a telecom company. I've done the jobs these kits cover: knocking doors, setting appointments, cold calling, closing, marketing, and running and training sales teams. I've also started and run my own businesses, so I know what a rep's time is worth.
In 2023 I founded The Day Company LLC in Spokane, Washington. Day One kits follow one rule: every fact gets a source and a date.
I review every kit before it ships. I won't promise you'll close more, because that depends on you, your market and your company. I'll promise words you can say out loud and still feel good about.

Refund PolicyQuestions
I've never knocked a door. Will this help?
It's written for day one: what to say, how to say it, and how to track your own numbers. The 2-week ramp walks you through it with your manager. Results depend on you, your market and your company.
Does it cover phone setting?
It covers warm and inbound follow-up: callbacks, re-engaging leads who gave consent, and confirmations, with the TCPA and Do Not Call rules. It doesn't teach cold calling.
What about permits and no-soliciting signs?
The compliance page covers solicitor permits, no-soliciting signs, knocking hours and false affiliation. Check your local code too.
Can I add my company's details?
Yes. The Word file is editable. Fill every [bracket] with your company's real facts.
Is it in the membership?
Yes. The Rep Membership includes the Knock-to-Booked Playbook, the Kitchen Table Playbook, the No-Credit Close, Kit 02 and every new Day One kit released while you're subscribed. Buying the playbook on its own doesn't come with a membership credit.
Can my team use it?
One purchase is one person's license. Team plans include both playbooks for every seat.
How do I get it?
Instantly. After checkout you land on your download page, and Stripe emails your receipt. Lost it? Log in to My Kits with the email you paid with.
Is this legal advice?
No. It's sales training. Follow your company's rules and your local solicitation rules.
Refunds?
14 days, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy.
